How to Touch-Up Your Vehicle

Our six step process makes seamless, DIY repairs effortless. Each step shows a simple process, from initial surface prep all the way through UV‑cured finish so you can restore your vehicle’s appearance and protection like a true pro.

  • 1. Clean Surface

    Remove dirt,
    silicone & contaminants

  • 2. Prep Area

    Sand area if required to
    soften edges.

  • 3. Clean

    Clean with alcohol wipes
    to ensure surface it ready.

  • 4. Apply Touch-Up Paint

    Apply paint using
    applicator brush.

  • 5. Apply Clearcoat

Use pen to apply 2-3 layers
    of clear coat.

  • 6. Drying

    Expose clear coat to Sunlight
    to cure.

  1. Thoroughly remove dirt, wax, and surface contaminants using a mild detergent or dedicated car‑wash solution. Rinse and dry completely to ensure optimal adhesion.
  2. If necessary, lightly sand the damaged spot with fine‑grit (600–800) sandpaper to feather edges and promote paint bonding. Wipe away sanding dust.
  3. Wipe the area with isopropyl alcohol wipes (or our prep‑solvent pads) to eliminate any remaining oils or residue. Allow to air‑dry.
  4. Shake your Brush‑Tip Touch‑Up Bottle well, then use the fine bristle tip to deposit a thin, even coat of color into the scratch. Let it level out. Apply as many as you need to achieve full coverage.
  5. After the paint has cured (15–20 minutes), apply 2–3 light layers of clearcoat with the Clearcoat Pen. Wait 5 minutes between coats for optimal clarity and protection.
  6. Allow the repair to dry for a minimum of 60 minutes in direct sunlight to cure. Fully cured in 48hrs.
