safety and proper use

DYC products may be user friendly, but they need to be respected as well.  The aerosol cans and gallons do have flammable vapors that should be properly ventilated, protected from fire hazard and not breathed in.  Please review the following safety practices to make sure you experience with our popular products is a safe one.

personal respirators

Personal face respirators should always be word when applying our aerosol or gallon products.  Doesn't matter if it's Plasti Dip, ProLine, or AutoFlex - never spray the products without respirator protection.  DYC does sell half-mask respirators that you can purchase if you don't have one at home.  They can also be found at local stores.  DYC doesn't care where you get them, as long as you use them when spraying our materials.

Proper Ventilation

It may sound like common sense, but a closed off garage is not an appropriate place to spray Plasti Dip, ProLine or AutoFlex. You need moving, flowing air through your workspace to help move the overspray and vapors through.  Always make sure you have proper ventilation before starting a project.

AutoFlex specifically should only be sprayed in a paint booth by a professional applicator.
